As an electric cooperative, Linn County REC is guided by a democratically elected board of directors – a board who serves because of your vote. Our Board of Directors are members like you who represent you and set cooperative policy. A director’s decisions will impact issues, such as service rates, rights of way and work plans.
Our annual meeting is the opportunity for you to exercise one of the greatest benefits of being a member of an electric co-op, by voting for the upcoming year’s board of directors. Learn more about this year’s candidates inside this newsletter and full biographies on our website.
Members may cast their vote at the annual meeting September 29th for the 2017 annual meeting at the Chauffeurs, Teamsters and Helpers #238 Union Building, 5000 J Street, SW in Cedar Rapids.
