Dairy and Livestock

Linn County REC has expanded our offerings of ag-related energy efficiency Incentives. We now offer incentives on dairy and livestock equipment as well as ventilation and circulation fans as listed below.

Dairy Equipment:

• Dairy Milk Precoolers = $3 per cow
• Refrigerant Heat Reclaimers (must be connected to an electric water heater) = $4 per cow
• Scroll Compressor (Only for replacement of reciprocating compressor) = $250 per unit
• Variable Speed Vacuum Pump = $40 per horse power controlled

Livestock Euipment:

• Livestock Waterers (max 175 watts per opening) = $50 per unit
• Heat Lamps (max 175 watts) = $3 per lamp
• Single Crate Heating Pads (max 85 watts) = $25 per unit
• Double Crate Heating Pads (max 170 watts) = $50 per unit
• Heat Lamp or Heating Pad Controller = $50

Fans:

• Ventilation Fans (14" - 50+") = $3 per inch diameter
• Circulation Fans (12" - 52") = $1 per inch diameter
• High Volume Low Speed Fans (HVLS) = $35 per foot diameter

Fans must be BESS Labs rated and meet criteria as stated on Incentive form.
