exterior of new home constructionThe All Star Home incentive is a bonus for a newly constructed home that goes above the standard requirements in construction and energy efficient equipment. This incentive is in addition to other individual incentives available at Linn County REC.

Linn County REC offers two All Star bonus incentives to choose from. (One per home)

The first option is the ALL ELECTRIC ALL-STAR HOME BONUS for a $250 incentive. Homes that qualify must have a new high efficiency electric space heating and cooling system, a new high efficiency electric domestic water heating system, electric appliances installed in addition to receiving a minimum 5 Star HERS rating.

The second option is the ALTERNATE ALL-STAR HOME BONUS for a $100 incentive. Homes must have a new gas or electric space heating and water heating system, at least 3 electric appliances in addition to receiving a minimum 5 Star HERS rating.

In conjunction with the above All Star Bonuses, Linn County REC is offering an Advanced Lighting Package (ALP) allowing you to earn an extra $200 incentive. See either of the above forms for criteria. Keep in mind, you must meet criteria for the All Star All Electric Home or the Alternate All Star Home Bonus to qualify for the ALP incentive.

Linn County REC also offers a NEW HOME HERS BONUS of $250 for building a newly constructed home with a high efficiency electric space heating and cooling system, a new high efficiency electric domestic water heating system in addition to receiving a minimum 5 Star HERS rating. (The HERS cerificate must be in the name of member requesting the incentive)
