Interconnection

NOTICE: The Iowa Utility Board has approved our new interconnection application form. Please contact Kevin Stucker at 319-377-1587 for further information or questions you may have.
When you are considering the installation of an alternate energy production system on your property, the key issues are safety, reliability and integrity of the power grid that serves your fellow member-consumers.
This is an individual decision for each member-consumer. Linn County REC’s role in this process is to help educate you regarding the cooperative’s expectations. Before investing in an alternative energy system that will be connected to the grid, Linn County REC can send you information about interconnection criteria, electrical usage and other items to help you make an informed decision.
