For complete criteria and application forms click on individual incentive links Incentive amounts totaling less than $500, will be credited to your account. Geothermal Heat Pumps - $350 per ton for initial installations up to 20 tons Primary heating system must be electric and able to provide 100% of structure's heating requirements 100% of the domestic water heating must be electrically heated Notification Form must be completed and returned by installing contractor prior to installation Air Source Heat Pumps - $225 per ton Minimum SEER 14 and HSPF 8.2 (ENERGY STAR® qualified) Notification Form must be completed and returned by installing contractor prior to installation Electric Boilers - $250 per unit Must operate as primary system in a closed-loop boiler application (cannot be used for domestic water heating) Requires built-in pressure relief valve, pressure & temperature gauge & limiting temperature controller Unit must be certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or Underwriters Laboratory (UL) Electric Water Heaters - $250 per unit Electric Heat Pump Water Heaters - $400 per unit All water heaters must be energized and cannot be used as storage-only tank 50 gallon tank minimum used for domestic water heating only Minimum energy factor (EF): .92 EF for 50 to 79 gallon tank / .90 EF for 80 & greater gallon tank Minimum energy factor (EF) for Heat Pump Water Heaters is 2.00 Drain Water Heat Recovery Systems - $300 per system An electric water heater must be installed Must be approved Drain Water Heat Recovery pipe system; homemade systems not eligible Air Quality Equipment - $50 per unit (whole-house system) Heat/Energy Recovery Ventilators Ultra Violet Air Purifiers Radon Abatement Systems Electronic Air Filters Central Air Conditioners - 14 SEER = $100 / 15 SEER = $150 / 16 SEER & greater = $200 Must meet ENERGY STAR® qualifications Energy Star® Qualified Appliances - $50 per unit Refrigerators (greater than 12 cubit feet) Clothes Washers (electric water heater required) Dishwashers (electric water heater required) Indoor Lighting - Incentive varies (must be ENERGY STAR® labeled) Screw based compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) - over 9 watts (limited to twelve per year) Hard wired fixtures with CFL plug-in base - over 9 watts Torchiere fluorescent lamps - 36 watt minimum Fluorescent tube lamp fixtures T-8 or T-5 w/electronic ballast (must replace ballast) Residential members may file one lighting incentive per calendar year per account Outdoor Lighting - Incentive varies Must replace or install entire fixture with appropriate ballast (no lamp or bulb replacements) Must be dusk to dawn (automatic photo-cell eye) HERS/All Star New Home Construction Bonuses - up to $500 per home Home must be new construction with at least a 4 HERS rating plus meet additional equipment criteria These incentives are in addition to other individual incentives for which you may qualify New Premium Motors - $20 - $300 per unit (incentive varies according to motor size) Incentives apply to motors from 1 hp to 200 hp when they meet or exceed NEMA Premium™ efficiency standards - call for pre-approval Adjustable Speed Drives - $40 per horsepower - call for pre-approval Dairy Pre-Coolers/Refrigerant Heat Recovery Systems - $2.00 per cow-call for pre-approval Livestock Ventilation Fans - Incentive varies (See table on incentive form) Must be listed in BESS Labs "Agricultural Ventilation Fans, Performance & Efficiencies" publication CFM and efficiency (CFM/watt) values provided for fans must be rated at a static pressure of 0.10 inches Have you purchased energy efficient equipment or appliances not covered in the Incentive list above?
