Energy Efficiency Incentives

Geothermal: Incentives up to $350 per ton for initial installations up to 20 tons.

Air Source Heat Pumps: Incentive of  $225 per ton on new installations for units that are a minimum SEER 14.5 and HSPF 8.2  (ENERGY STAR® requirement)

Electric Water Heaters: Install a 50 gallon water heater with a .92 energy factor and receive an incentive of $250 per unit.   Receive an incentive of $400 per unit on Electric Heat Pump Water Heaters.

Central Air Conditioners: Incentives of up to $200 (depending on SEER purchased) are available for units that meet ENERGY STAR® requirements.

ENERGY STAR® Qualified Appliances: Receive up to a $50 incentive per unit for refrigerators, clothes washers and dishwashers.

Air Quality Equipment:  Incentives of $50 per unit on the following: heat/recovery ventilators, ultra violet air purifiers, radon abatement systems and electronic air filters.

Indoor Lighting: Receive incentives for the purchase of compact fluorescent lights and fixtures, T-8 and T-5 new fixtures, replacement lamp and ballast sets.

HERS/All Star New Home Construction Bonus:  Receive up to $500 home.  See checklist of requirements on incentive application or contact Linn County REC.
